I recently had the opportunity to spend a rainy afternoon tagging along for a tour of the inside of KVH’s new facility at 75 Enterprise Center! There are lots of details yet to come, but the construction crews are still on schedule to get the building finished by year’s end. Check it out:
After a brief delay due to Hurricane Irene, the windows have arrived and are ready to be installed!
These pipes divert water away from the uniquely designed roof at 75 Enterprise Center, ensuring that there are no leaks
KVH’s vice president of research and development, Rob Kits van Heyningen, and vice president of operations, satellite products, Jeff Greer, discuss options for Internet access in the new building’s conference rooms
Yes, that’s a ledge… and yes, there will be stairs here!
That machine is for polishing the newly-poured floor to its shiny finish, and using it looked like an awful lot of fun! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try it… trained professionals only!
This area on the second floor will be dedicated solely to secure file storage and was designed so that if needed, entire pallets of material can be lifted right in!
The main entryway to 75 Enterprise Center
Just like we’ve seen outside, there are plenty of materials ready for installation inside 75 Enterprise Center. The progress never stops!
Hey, look over there! It’s KVH’s world headquarters building at 50 Enterprise Center, as seen from a second floor window at 75 Enterprise Center
These will be two offices on the second floor of 75 Enterprise Center
There is a great design planned for this landing area right above the entryway, but we’ll have to wait to see it
