Fans of the Discovery Channel show “Deadliest Catch” are familiar with the adventures of the fishing vessel Cornelia Marie, but what kind of fans are the Cornelia Marie’s captains? Big-time soccer fans, it turns out. From Bristol Bay, Alaska, last month, co-captains Josh Harris and Casey McManus spent some off-watch hours catching world championship soccer onboard the Cornelia Marie, thanks to KVH’s IP-MobileCast™ content delivery service.

Seems the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ sure was the Cornelia Marie’s catch of the day: “We’re sitting in the wheelhouse watching World Cup…thanks to KVH and the innovations they’ve come forth with. This is pretty awesome!” says Casey. “Thanks, KVH!” adds Josh.
